Sound Encouragement: Live is a podcast concert. Renowned flutist Adam W. Sadberry dialogues with Dawson White, Musiqa's Executive Director and the CEO of Aspire Music Company, about their lives in the music world and their inner worlds, all interlaced with musical improvisation that amplifies the moment. This event aims to cultivate a culture of courage in the arts so musicians can act as unifying lights to support necessary changes in society. This event is made possible through support from DACAMERA.

Adam and other DACAMERA young artists band together to perform a program that’s reflective of the Museum of Fine Art’s installation by Harry Bertoia: Echoes in Space. This program will feature the world premiere of Emma Kent Wine’s reverie in green.

Join this DACAMERA performance hosted by Houston’s world-famous Museum of Fine Arts to hear music inspired by art in Rome and imperial life. Adam will perform with celebrated Houston harpist, Kelsey Sham.

Adam and the star-studded string quartet Balourdet Quartet reunite to perform a dynamic program. Works include those by fcomposers Amy Beach, Maurice Ravel, Adolphus Hailstork, Jonathan Bailey Holland, and Joan Tower.

The Bohemians and the Kosciusko Foundation host Adam W. Sadberry as a guest featuring the world premiere of a flute concerto (the flute and piano version) written by The Cleveland Orchestra’s Composition Fellow and Adam’s friend, Tyler Taylor.

Join DACAMERA in the Grand Foyer of the Wortham Theatre to celebrate Hispanic Heritage month with live music written by Hispanic composers! Adam and other DACAMERA Young Artists will take the stage during their first Little Day Music concert of the 2025-2026 season.

Adam rejoins the Color of Noize Orchestra directed by Derrick Hodge at the Hollywood Bowl featuring special guests including Miles Caton, Jennifer Holliday, and D-Nice. The event will be hosted by actor and comedian Craig Robinson.

DACAMERA Young Artist and composer Gavin Goodrich shares his second-year DACAMERA project featuring flutists Doug DeVries and Adam W. Sadberry.

DACAMERA Young Artists perform at the Museum of Fine Arts, celebrating the newly-opened exhibit by A.A. Murakami with music that reflects his artwork that is infused with elements of nature, introspective, and Zen Buddhism.

The Art Room HTX hosts is regular open mic, and Adam will be featured as a VIP performer sharing Solange’s Cranes in the Sky using both his voice and the flute.

Adam collaborates with his friends in the Balourdet Quartet to perform through Friends of Music at Sleepy Hollow Middle/High School. Adam and BQ will perform Amy Beach’s Theme and Variations for flute and string quartet.

Adam performs a free, public pop-up concert in the main atrium of Crosstown Concourse. There may be some special guests, too!

Adam and pianist Nathan Cheung put on a colorful, imaginative, and interactive show for the kiddos at Spivey Hall.

Adam and Nathan Cheung perform Musical Journalism: Continuing a Legacy through the Flute at Spivey Hall outside of Atlanta. This program intertwines the lives of Adam and his late grandfather L. Alex Wilson, a heroic journalist of the Civil Rights Movement who covered events including Little Rock 9, Montgomery Bus Boycott, and the lynching of Emmett Till. It will be an event to remember!
